Best of the West
Back in April 2018 WA’s Inaugural Best of the West Stockman’s Challenge took place. It showcased the skills of traditional Aussie stockmen. I was lucky enough to head along to Day 1 to photograph some of the action. The weather got worse throughout the day with the mid/late afternoon turning really wet, not the best for photography or for contestants and bystanders.
Events taking place on the first day were: Bushman’s Whip Crack, Packsaddle, Stock handling, Bareback obstacle and Cross Country Riding. Here’s a few of the images from the day.
